Torque Certification

Modeled after Snap-on Diagnostic Certification, Torque Certification is an increasingly necessary program for a variety of industries, such as Aviation, Wind Power, Automotive Repair, as well as Manufacturing.  Colleges within the network will have their instructors certified as approved trainers.  All certifications are obtained from colleges or schools which are authorized as Certification Training Centers.

 Instructors attend a train the trainer session with Snap-on Certified trainers.  Workstations include all necessary tools and lab materials, as well as curriculum. 

     

The Torque Certification curriculum covers bolt elasticity as well as tensioning theory and how they are affected by lubrication and fasterner and bolt condition.  The types of instruments included in the torque workstation range from dial type, click type and digital torque wrenches.
