What does the SOLUS Ultra Charging LED color indicate?

Below are the three color combinations used by the SOLUS Ultra to indicate battery charging status.

  • The bright red LED indicates the battery is charging
  • The bright green LED indicates the battery is fully charged
  • The combination of the red and green LED's at a lower intensity (slight amber hue) indicates a charging fault has been detected

Charging fault: If the LED indicates a fault place the SOLUS Ultra in the standing position when charging. When placed in the standing position the unit will have better air flow. This allows the unit to better dissipate heat and avoid a temperature related charging fault. If the SOLUS Ultra is being charged in a high temperature environment or an enclosed space with no air flow it may be necessary to relocate it to a cooler location. The temperature related charging fault is triggered at 104F (40C) and will prevent the battery from being charged.
